Kristofer Lopez

Jonathon “Joni” Kristofer Lopez was born in Tampa, Florida, on April 10, 2000. He served in the United States Air Force, became a Senior Airman, and earned two medals. His service took him to Spangdahlem, Germany, and later to Las Vegas.
Joni loved basketball, ping pong, poker, and bachata. He brought a competitive spirit to the things he enjoyed. His family remembers him as affectionate, kind, humble, and protective of those he loved—someone who showed his care through what he did.
That care extended to his fellow airmen. His commander remembered Joni as someone who helped others without expecting recognition. He made time for people and understood the value of being present.
The Joni Project honors his life by sharing what he loved and carrying forward his care for others.
